Notary Services
Notary services are available to Manchester residents by appointment only in the clerk's office.
If you reside in another municipality, please visit your town clerk to see if notary services are offered to residents.
TO BOOK:
- Call or email our office to confirm your appointment.
- We schedule out at minimum 24 hours in advance, on a first-come first-serve basis.
- Provide your name, amount of documents needed to be notarized, and confirm the date and time of your appointment.
PLEASE BRING:
- All persons signing the document(s) and witnessing the document(s) being signed must bring a valid government issued photo ID to the appointment.
- For example, a driver's license, non-driver ID card, or passport.
- The document in its entirety.
- Please bring any and all witnesses necessary with you to the office, as we cannot guarantee there will be witnesses available.
- Please review your document(s) in advance to see whether witnesses are required.
AT THE APPOINTMENT:
- All signatures and initialing on the document shall be completed at the appointment before the notary.
DISCLAIMER:
We cannot say without seeing the document whether it is one we will be able to notarize. This will be determined at the appointment.
