Jackie Wilson

Jackie Wilson was elected to the Selectboard on June 2, 2026 and is serving her first term.

Jackie moved to Manchester 40 years ago and dedicated almost three decades to public education in the community. She began her career in 1992 as a sixth-grade teacher at MEMS, later served as principal of MEMS for 11 years, and retired in 2020 as Superintendent of the BRSU. Upon her retirement, Jackie ran a consulting firm for several years where she assisted school boards with governance training, hiring, and leadership development. Most recently, Jackie served as the Northshire Day School President, a role she thoroughly enjoyed. Jackie also spearheads the local Manchester Interfaith Holiday Giving Project. 

Jackie and her family have deep roots in Manchester. She moved to town when her husband, Jeff, became Town Manager in 1986, and they arrived with three young sons in tow —Joshua, Justin, and Jon. The boys attended MEMS and BBA, and Jackie is lucky enough to have two of her granddaughters, Harper and Tamsin, living in town. Jackie enjoys traveling and cooking with them and cherishes the time they spend together.
