Board & Commission Appointments
Boards and Commissions for the Town of Manchester are comprised of citizen volunteers who help to make our Town a better place.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. However, except for vacancies, the Selectboard normally interviews interested candidates in April or May, and typically makes appointments in June.
Legal residents from the Town of Manchester (including Village of Manchester) are eligible for appointment. Burr and Burton Academy students residing in the Town and Village of Manchester are also encouraged to apply for student positions on the Town Boards and Commissions.
To apply, please complete the Town of Manchester Boards and Commissions Application, and submit with a Letter of Interest to Scott Murphy, Town Manager at (802) 362-1313 (option 2) or s.murphy@manchester-vt.gov.
**Hard copy (paper) versions of the application are available at Town Hall, in the Town Manager’s Office during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm).**
