The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for assisting the Town Manager with overall personnel management, such as payroll, benefits, compliance and recruitment of employees and board and commission members.

Cynamon Marshall serves as the Human Resources Administrator. She joined the Town in March of 2008. The position of Human Resource Administrator was created as part of the Fiscal Year 2009 budget reorganization. She reports to the Town Manager.

 

Cynamon oversees payroll, recruitment and hiring, employee benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, retirement, section 125, employee assistance program, and other elective programs. She also manages the Town’s safety, training and wellness programs.

She is a native of Battle Creek, Michigan. She relocated to Vermont with her family, husband Evan and daughter Sydney, in 2007. She comes to the Town with over 14 years of human resources experience. Prior to moving to Vermont Cynamon was a Human Resources Specialist at Koyo Corporation, a manufacturing facility in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Cynamon has a business degree from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan and plans to obtain her bachelors degree in Human Resources Management from Davenport University in 2010.

When Cynamon is not working she enjoys spending time with her family, which now includes a three year old Yorkshire Terrier. She is involved in activities with her church, Community Bible Church in Williamstown, Massachusetts. She and her family enjoy the theater and sightseeing.
