Planning Commission

The Planning Commission is responsible for long-range planning, drafting of the Town Plan and Sign and Zoning Ordinances, and may participate as a party in Act 250 proceedings as appropriate and necessary.

The Planning Commission usually meets twice a month on Monday evenings at 7:00 PM at Town Hall. For more information about the Planning Commission please contact the Planning and Zoning Office at (802) 362-4824 or email Lee Krohn, Planning Director.

The Planning Commission consists of seven members appointed by the Selectboard to four (4) year terms.  Current members include:

• John Ringwood, chair (term expires June 30, 2013)
• Greg Boshart (term expires June 30, 2013)
• Bill Drunsic (term expires June 30, 2012)
• Chris Glabach (term expires June 30, 2012)
• Steve Grossfeld (term expires June 30, 2013)
• Craig Hunter (term expires June 30, 2012)

The Selectboard appoints Burr and Burton Academy students from Manchester to Town boards and commissions. The following students are appointed to the Planning Commision as non-voting members:

• Tristan Poplar (term expires June 30, 2011)
• Clare Kelley (term exipres June 30, 2011)
