Advisory Committee on Cemeteries

Created in 2009 by Town Meeting (Article 6), the Advisory Committee on Cemeteries is responsible for advising the Selectboard on policy, planning, finance, operations and other matters related to the Factory Point Cemetery.  Article 6 also transferred operation of the Cemetery from the independently elected Cemetery Commissioners to the Selectboard.

Factory Point Cemetery is located on Cemetery Avenue and is maintained by the Town's Department of Public Works.

The Committee meets as needed at Town Hall.  For more information about the Committee please call the Town Manager's Office at (802) 362-1313 or email John O'Keefe, Town Manager.

The Cemetery Committee, consisting of at least three members, is appointed by the Selectboard.  Current members include:

• Ron Naples, chair (term expires June 30, 2012)
• John Griffin (term expires June 30, 2010)
• Len Kotler (term expires June 30, 2011)
